A visual interpretation of the 12 targets of Sustainable Development Goal 15.

SDG 15 focuses on protecting, restoring and sustainably managing life on land. Its 12 targets address a wide range of challenges - from conserving terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems, forests and mountain habitats to restoring degraded land, protecting biodiversity and preventing the loss of threatened species. They also address issues such as poaching and wildlife trafficking, invasive species, and the integration of biodiversity into planning and development.

For this personal project, I created an individual illustration for each of the 12 targets, translating their different environmental and societal themes into visual form. Together, the illustrations provide an overview of the scope of SDG 15 - Life on Land and the different areas of action it encompasses.
