About me

Hi, I'm Carola, an illustrator and visual communicator with a background in sustainable development and international collaboration. I am from Germany and currently based in Vienna, Austria. My work transforms complex ideas into clear and accessible messages that turn knowledge into action.

 

I create conceptual, editorial and commercial illustrations for publishers, brands and organizations. My work focuses on the intersection of visual communication and socially relevant topics with the goal to not oversimplify complexity, but to make it more accessible while preserving its depth. Key topics of my work include sustainability, diversity and inclusion, environmental issues, science and social justice.

I enjoy collaborations that spark visual communication with personality, strong concepts, and lasting impact. I am passionate about outdoor sports, travelling, and discovering new cultures, so I particularly enjoy working with people who share these values and interests.​
